Patience Ekong

She holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Port Harcourt. She joined GADA, Port Harcourt in 2007 and has since been involved in Project Management, facilitation and Implementation.
She has actively engaged in forums which include; Movement against Corruption (MAC), Budget monitoring processes in both the local and state Government levels, Civic education trainings, Elections Monitoring, Advocacy skills development trainings and Grassroots Empowerment.
She is currently the lead programme officer on the Women’s Political Empowerment Project and assisting on the GADA’s STAND project.
Her Research skill has afforded GADA the opportunity to deepen its work in areas where capacity still remains a huge challenge.

Phillip Madu

He is currently pursuing a degree in information technology (I.T). He has also received trainings on Development studies with major focus on Theatre for Development (TFD) and Participatory Video (PV). Philip joined GADA Port Harcourt in 2008 and is the lead Programme officer on Strengthening Transparency and Accountability in the Niger Delta (STAND) Project.
He is involved with Research, Field Mapping exercises, Report Writings and Trainings.

Blessing G. Horsfall

Blessing joined GADA in 2009 as a Programme officer on the Groundwork Project. Her work in GADA has exposed her to community mobilization and creating needed linkages to influence social change from a gender perspective. Currently she is also engaged with GADA’s Peace building efforts and initiatives in local communities in the Niger Delta and has had useful interactions in the Children Rehabilitation NETWORK. The “Girl Child Agenda” which is an emerging issue in the Beijing PLATFORM FOR ACTION provides the needed platform to articulate GADA’s work focus within the NETWORK.
Blessing is currently studying for a degree in Political Science and Administration

Emmanuel I. Willie

Emmanuel joined GADA in 2009 as the lead programme officer on the Groundwork Project. His Engagements within GADA has provided him with a cross cutting expertise in Report Writing, Research, Baseline Studies, and programme coordination.
He has had trainings on Participatory Video (PV), Monitoring and Documentation of Human Rights Violations by Stakeholder Democracy Network (SDN) and United Nation Niger Delta Periodic Review Coalition.
Emmanuel is a final year part time student of Business Administration at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Rivers State. |
